THE FIRST 3 LEAGUE GAMES CONFIRMED, 24th July 2019,
The Rojillos (The Reds) first league match of the 2019/20 season is at home on the Sunday 25th August versus Tenerife side CD Santa Úrsula.
For some reason the Football Federation has just confirmed the opening three matches. The second game is away in La Palma versus SD Tenisca and scheduled for Sunday 1st September.
The third match is at home and could be either on Saturday 7th or Sunday 8th September versus CD Atlético Paso. The reason for doubt on the date is because they are one of three La Palmas sides in the league and they need two flights to reach Lanzarote, so games are often changed to late Saturday afternoons to allow their squad to travel on the same day.
My advice as always CHECK match details on this Facebook Page Lanzarote football club or website www.lanzarotefootball.com during the week of the match to be certain and avoid disappointment.
This home game against the new boys to the Tercera Division (Fourth Tier) CD Atlético Paso is interesting in many ways. Three of Lanzarote´s players from last season Fran Gil, Javi Morales and Alex Yunes now play for the La Palma side as well as ex Rojillo manager Maxi Barrero who is now their team manager.
